IMEXCO Attends the Grand Opening of Eramart Welfare Supermarket, Expanding Employee Welfare Solutions

On January 22, 2021, Eramart Welfare Supermarket officially opened its doors, marking a significant milestone in delivering practical welfare benefits to employees in Ho Chi Minh City. The event brought together representatives from business associations, strategic partners, leading brands, and corporate stakeholders, all sharing the common goal of enhancing workers’ quality of life through an accessible shopping ecosystem offering attractive prices and exclusive benefits.

As one of the participating partners, IMEXCO attended the opening ceremony with the commitment to supporting collaborative initiatives that create long-term value for the workforce while strengthening connections between businesses, brands, and consumers.

A Welfare Supermarket Serving Hundreds of Thousands of Workers

Eramart was established as a dedicated welfare supermarket designed specifically for employees working in export processing zones, industrial parks, and the Saigon Hi-Tech Park.

Through a network of approximately 1,600 enterprises with nearly 400,000 employees, the supermarket provides access to essential products at stabilized prices, exclusive supplier promotions, and purchasing benefits tailored to the everyday needs of workers and their families.

This welfare model is expected to help ease household expenses while enabling workers to purchase quality products at more affordable prices.

Strengthening Collaboration Among Businesses and Strategic Partners

The grand opening welcomed representatives from numerous organizations and businesses, including Mr. Tran Thien Long, Vice Chairman of the Industrial Park Business Association; Mr. Tran Manh Hao, Chairman of IMEXCO Group; representatives of SmartNet, the owner of the SmartPay e-wallet; together with strategic partners and participating brands.

Beyond celebrating the launch of Eramart, the event also marked the beginning of broader collaboration among businesses, suppliers, and financial technology partners to enhance the employee welfare ecosystem.

Through these partnerships, preferential programs, quality products, and practical services are expected to reach an even larger workforce across member enterprises.

Promoting Cashless Payments in the Workplace

A key highlight of the event was the collaboration between SmartPay, the Industrial Park Business Association, and Era Group to promote cashless payment solutions for employees.

In addition to introducing the “Buy Now, Pay Later” service, the initiative aims to encourage the adoption of digital payment methods within the workplace, making daily shopping more convenient while supporting Vietnam’s national digital transformation and cashless economy strategy.

The application of modern payment technologies is expected to improve the overall shopping experience and expand workers’ access to welfare programs.

Sharing Meaningful Support with the Workforce

The opening ceremony also featured a community-focused activity in which Tet gift packages were presented to 100 workers facing difficult circumstances from local export processing zones.

Supported by participating brands and partner organizations, these gifts represented not only practical assistance but also sincere appreciation and encouragement for workers ahead of the Lunar New Year. The initiative reflected a shared commitment among businesses to creating positive social impact and fostering stronger connections with the workforce.

IMEXCO’s Commitment to Creating Sustainable Community Value

By participating in the launch of Eramart Welfare Supermarket, IMEXCO continues to reaffirm its commitment to initiatives that generate meaningful value for communities and employees.

Through collaboration with businesses, partners, and social organizations, IMEXCO remains dedicated to developing sustainable programs that improve quality of life, expand access to essential products and services, and contribute to building a stronger relationship between businesses and the communities they serve.
